THE COMPANY

We’re one of a rare breed: a company that genuinely adds value to its products and, even rarer, manufactures its unique aluminium case, 19" shock-mounted case and container range in the UK.

In a nutshell, we sell tough and technical cases for use by tough and technical people and we feel that you have been short-changed by the industry for years but have had limited alternatives. To address this we’ve taken all the best bits from the main industry players, added some of our own, and Extreme is the result.

The products are engineered in the UK at our modern and highly automated factory.

Certificated to ISO9001: 2008

Latest Plant and Equipment, including:

  • Amada Turret Press and combined Amada Turret / Laser, both with ‘lights-out’ capability
  • Four new generation Amada Press Brakes: all fully CNC, networked and utilizing the latest One-Hit tooling.
  • Leading CAD facilities from RADAN and SOLIDWORKS

THE PEOPLE

Okay, so you’re interested, but what about us?

We’ve both been in the case industry (or an industry closely related) for a combined total of well over 35 years and have a passion for great customer service, utmost professionalism and believe that superb planning delivers superb results! We’ve also run successful manufacturing companies in the past, both as Directors and Owners and now apply that experience to Extreme.

 

PROFILE:

Mike Huthnance:

Previously owner of MSA Foams Limited and Operations Director of Zero Cases (UK) Limited; prior to that, heavily involved with Supply Chain Management, Materials Handling and Packaging Procurement at Jaguar / Land Rover.

Mike lives in Southampton. When he’s not at the plant you can find him at our Southampton office. Mike looks after commercial, technical and operational matters.

Mike's claim to fame: Related to Ringo Starr... and can’t play the drums either!  However, over the years he's dabbled successfully with Fencing, Skiing, Photography and Male Voice singing – don’t ask.

 

Mark Brown:

25 years in cases, of which 8 years were with Zero Cases (UK) Limited including 3 years as Managing Director means Mark knows the case business.

Working out of his office in the wilds of North Devon, he will be the one hitting the road and running up the airmiles looking after the sales and marketing.

Mark's claim to fame: he had a top 100 single in the early 80’s (98!)
