Extreme Cases supported the Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) Boxer vehicle programme, designing and manufacturing a bespoke storage and deployment solution for the Special Tools and test Equipment (STTE) needed to support the vehicle. Due to the complexity and quantity of tooling involved, members of the Extreme Cases team deployed to our customer location, spending several days working with UK MOD colleagues identifying, measuring, and documenting every item, ensuring an accurate, practical and deployable solution could be developed.

Using this information, a series of complex CNC-machined foam packs were designed within lift-out tray systems and housed inside bespoke Extreme Cases Lockdown aluminium containers. The solution developed by Extreme Cases improved STTE organisation, protection, transportability, and ease of deployment for the Boxer capability. Boxer STTE is now securely stored in our deployable solution, providing ease of access and tool management in operational environments.
