We are proud to have been one of the sponsers of the Offas Dyke Ultra-13 team!

The eight man team ran the English Welsh border at the end of June 2013. The 178 miles (284.85 km) route which incorporates the Offa’s Dyke path stretches from Prestatyn (North Wales) to Chepstow (Severn Estuary). All team members completed the full distance, running seven legs over seven days (effectively seven consecutive marathons).

The team did amazingly well and raised just over £12,000 which is double their original target of £6000. The money raised will be divided equally between three charities that have and continue to provide exceptional welfare support to the men and their families:

The Hoplite Fund, The Association Fund, The Clocktower Fund.

Thats it….DVD 2013 over for another year! Although it may have felt a bit quieter than previous years, the quality of visitors to the stand was definitely a lot better and we will always choose quality over quantity! It was great to hear people on the stand talking about actual projects and having available capex… The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant and we were really pleased!

Us here in the Extreme Team also need to say a big thank you to all those that the visited us on the stand to have a chat and look at the products! We also want to say thank you to steep, Serco and Crib Gogh for their support and also the loan of the equipment – we couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help and support!

The winners of the rucksack and boomerang will be announced shortly so keep eyes peeled and fingers crossed!
